 Replaced the axel and new outer bearings, but the howling is still there. must be the pinion bearings, but there is almost no play in the shaft. does anyone know if this could be something else, like driveshaft out of wack,or would bad u joints cause the howl ? if it is the pinion bearings, where is a good place to buy,is there a kit,and what about a swap, anyone got a rear end hanging around ????need some help on this guys ! BJ

If you have checked the u-joints drive shaft ect the diff. fluid is full. The only thing that is left is the third member. If you have a 9" there are lots of options you can choose from at bronco graveyard, and the prices are good also.

:D Glad to see someone answered.Thanx! Got hold of Bron.Gryd.,Tearing apart Diff.tomorrow and will get parts from them.q BJ.
