Is there any way to drian out the pumpkin on the front end? Or do you just add oil? Thanks Brian

There should be a drain plug on it. Check the back and bottom.
What front end do you have? (Dana 44, etc. etc.)

JSM84 so there is no way to flush it with kero like the rear end? What if you take out a lower cover bolt? Thanks Brian

I wouldn't recommend draining it through the bottom bolts because if something gets stuck in the gasket you will not be able to get it to seal and it will always leak.

If you have the Dana 60 then all you need to do is pull the front cover off then replace the gasket.

If you have the Dana 44 or 50 then You are probably going to need the pump justshootme84 is talking about.

I have a question how do you tell what size yor front end is, like how would i know if I have a Dana 40 ,50, or 60.

if it's a stock F150 or Bronco you have the Dana44 TTB. F250 has the Dana 50 TTB 85.5-98 F350's have the solid Dana 60. But if you don't have a front bolt on cover and has a removeable 3rd member it's a TTB.

TXQH is right. The straight axle Dana's will have the number stamped in the webbing around the center-section. The D44 and D50 are twin i-beam or TTB, and only have one fill plug. Trust me on the TTB, it is much easier to get a cheap pump from the parts store, it comes in handy for draining the rear axle and t-case, too. If you have the Ford 8.8" rearend, you can take the cover plate off of the back, but then you need a new gasket.
