i`m rebuilding my 89 4x4. now i`ve come to the point where i have to paint and was wondering how to clean my chrome trim. i`ll be taking off all the chrome and bumpers to get it ready for paint. what cleaner is the best? while i`m getting the body ready i`m going to let my son clean chrome and i need some suggestion. any would help. thanks

The best way is just good ol fashioned elbow grease! Get yourself a good chrome polish from your local parts store, turtle wax brand works good, a bunch of terry towels, n follow the directions! in most cases, surface rust will come off, ive polished up lots of stacks, bumpers, grill guards ect. with excellent results! you'll be amazed.
