This is my first post on here(newbie), anyways, i have an 89 f-250 4x4, 7.5L, lately its been running very rich, infact so bad that everytime i drive it i smell like gas when i get out, also while driving it down the road, it seems to surge like it loses power and then regains it, and when i let off the pedal, it pops and backfires especially going down the highway, i replaced the o2 sensor,air filter plugs wires and cap and fuel filter, the check engine light comes on occasionally and goes off, now it won't even idle in the driveway, I imagine it could be alot of things, my friend told me to take the vaccum line off the fuel regulator and turn the key on and if fuel came out of it then that would be the problem, so i tried that and a little bit of gas came could this be the prob, any help is apreciated thanks
