i have an 81 150 4wd with a 300 and a c6. i was lookin at doing a manual swap. i found a donor truck, but it is a 2wd. i was wondering what all needs done to put this tranny in my truck, and keep the 4wd. can my np-208 bolt up to this tranny? what adapters are nescessary. the donor truck is an 83 250 2wd with a 300. thanks

i guess no one has any helpfull advice :( i think that all i have to do is swith the tail shaft assemblies on the manual to mate it to the transfer case. if you know any different, please le me know. thankz

yes ive done it 1989 f 150 4x4 manual tranm 8 cyl

wirering for the box ad to b change because 4x4 shitf swicht for the ligth in dash.
also ad to change steering because 1991 ad cruise control
the dash board to but verry easy to do
BUT FOR TRANNY I THING U NEED MANUAL TRANM AND TRANFER CASE 4 MANUAL

GOOD LUCK

All you do need is to change the tailshafts with the right intermediate housing. BroncoGraveyard sells these used, you just have to make sure you know the correct length you need. After that it is a bolt on operation (I hate when I say that, because it is rarely ever that way.)

I have set up my 2wd with a transfer case doing it that way and it worked decent. If you had a 4wd drivetrain available, it is better because then you know everything will bolt together.

Good Luck.
