rebuilt 400 bored 30 over rv cam 10-1 pistons edelbrock carb and intake 3" duel exaust. oh yeah my 79 bronco has 6"susp lift brand new 35" goodyear MTR's 15 by10 eagle alloys almost no rust and a good stereo. ONLYPAID $2000 CANADIAN FOR IT

if ya have a stock 400 like i did, the cheap and easy way for more power. is this, a dual plane intake, edelbrock performer or equal part, a comp 268h cam and a 600 cfm carb. you don't have ta have headers i can't tell much difference with em. this combo worked great on my 400.

superdave said it all,but have found that IF you run across these heads and willing to spend the money-the austrailian cleveland heads are the ticket. They use the same port bolt pattern as the 351/400,but you get the same response as the cleveland. It also remains the same bottom power as the 351/400-in short with the mods as per superdaves suggestion and these heads;IT WILL NEED WINGS.....

my buddy has a Bronco w/ the 400, and he has the Cleveland heads, and the motor also has a roller cam, and the truck has a lot of power.

Hello i am building up my 400 and i was just checking will ford 351w dual plane intake manifolds fit a 400? and will my Performer RPM 351C Heads work??
