Most engines with a 4 inch or larger stroke are externally balanced. I have a 351M that was converted to a 400 cid done by the previous owner. They installed a 270 cam, 650 dual feed double pumper, a 3000 stall, and a shift pkg for the C6. I took the 2.75 out and put a 3.5 trac-loc nodular iron under it. Perfect for everyday limited use. I'm considering a 4 speed in it and the purchase of a flywheel is where the balance comes in. As we know internal might mean pull the engine. I'm sure many people have made this conversion and I would like a little advice. Thanks
