35 In Tires On 78 Bronco Stock Axle

Are 35 inch tires too big for 78 bronco with stock axle? This viehicle will not see a lof of off road use at first, but there is definatly some mud in its future.

Thats what I have on mine. I even still have stock gears(3.50) in it.

Ive seen a guy but 40's on the stock axle and it still runs great! He is at FTWtrucks.com somewhere
